| LEILA M. EL-HAKAM Ms. El-Hakam’s practice has focused on commercial litigation and
appellate law. She has represented clients in a variety of disputes,
including breach of contract, business torts, breach of fiduciary duty,
trade secret infringement, breach of warranty, defamation, oil and gas
litigation, consumer class actions, product liability, personal injury,
premises liability, and negligent hiring. Ms. El-Hakam received her J.D.
with honors and her M.B.A. in 1998 from the University of Texas. She
was a member of Order of the Coif, a recipient of the Chief Justice Joe
R. Greenhill Endowed Presidential Scholarship in Law and Conflicts of
Interest Symposium Chair and Notes Editor for The Review of Litigation.
Ms. El-Hakam also received a B.B.A. in Finance with high honors from
The University of Texas in 1994. Prior to joining Ogden, Gibson, Broocks & Longoria,
L.L.P., Ms. El-Hakam served as a Briefing Attorney to the Honorable Nathan
L. Hecht on the Supreme Court of Texas in 1998-1999 and was an associate
at Vinson & Elkins LLP in the Dallas and Houston offices. Ms. El-Hakam
has been recognized as a Super Lawyer - Rising Star by Law & Politics
Magazine for 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007. |
